King Macachor is the author´s pen name. In formal documents, he writes his birth name which is Enrique Macachor. To his students, he is known as Henri. This word is taken from his birth name plus a letter H in front, less the que to become Henri. King is taken from the last syllable.

King made two degrees in college. The first was a Bachelor of Arts major in English and the second was a Bachelor of Laws. He had validated his Bachelor of Laws into Licenciado en Derecho in Spain, in the year 1992. But professionally, he has been confidently paddling through life with English to write his novels and teach the language to students vying to pass the coveted Certificates.
